Senior SAP FI Consultant – S/4HANA
Discover are partnering with a well-established organisation who is looking for an experienced Senior SAP FI Consultant to support the ongoing development, optimisation, and operation of SAP FI processes within a modern SAP S/4HANA environment.
This role is suited to someone with strong SAP FI expertise who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional departments on process improvement, system enhancements, and transformation projects.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Support the further development, operation, and optimisation of SAP FI processes
- Work on SAP S/4HANA transformation and finance-related sub-projects
- Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into SAP FI solutions
- Customise, document, and improve SAP FI functionality
- Coordinate with technical teams on solution design, development, testing, and implementation
- Act as an interface between finance, controlling, sales, analytics, and digital business functions
- Support system integrations between SAP and non-SAP platforms
- Assist with troubleshooting, process improvements, and rollout activities
- Contribute to the implementation of scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions across multiple business areas
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience with SAP FI
- Good knowledge of SAP S/4HANA finance processes
- Experience with SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA environments
- Knowledge of SAP CO or SAP SD would be advantageous
- Experience with finance process design, implementation, and optimisation
- Familiarity with system integrations and digital transaction flows would be beneficial
- A degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills
- A solution-oriented working style and openness to new challenges
- Very good German and good English language skills
