Overview
Discover Recruitment is working with an established manufacturing business seeking an experienced EHS & Quality Manager to oversee health, safety, environmental compliance and quality management across its operations.
This is a hands-on leadership position, working closely with production, engineering and technical teams to maintain regulatory standards, strengthen safety culture and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Lead site-wide EHS policies, procedures and compliance activities.

Conduct safety audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.

Maintain and improve ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Coordinate internal, external and regulatory audits.

Oversee quality control activities and manage customer quality concerns.

Develop and deliver safety training and improvement initiatives.
-
Support and develop technical teams while promoting a proactive safety culture.

Monitor performance and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Requirements
-
5+ years’ experience in EHS, Quality or a combined management role within manufacturing.

Degree or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety, Engineering, Chemistry or a related discipline.

Strong understanding of Dutch HSE regulations and industrial safety standards.

Minimum 2 years’ experience with ISO quality management systems.

Experience conducting audits, managing compliance and driving continuous improvement.
-
Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
-
Experience within process manufacturing or other regulated industrial environments is advantageous.
