Are you an experienced SAP Fiori / UI5 Developer looking for an opportunity to work on modern SAP applications and help shape the future of an enterprise SAP landscape?
We’re working with a large, established organisation that is investing heavily in the development and modernisation of its SAP environment. As an SAP Fiori / UI5 Developer, you’ll play a key role in developing modern, user-friendly applications while working closely with business teams, Solution Architects and SAP developers.
The Role:
You’ll be responsible for the development and continuous improvement of SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications, working across both front-end development and the underlying SAP technology stack.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing modern, intuitive and user-friendly SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications.
- Continuously improving and enhancing existing Fiori solutions.
- Developing applications using Fiori Elements and SAPUI5.
- Working with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) to build modern SAP applications.
- Developing and integrating OData services, REST APIs and SAP interfaces.
- Working closely with Solution Architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Ensuring applications are performant, scalable, maintainable and aligned with development standards.
- Using modern AI-supported development tools to improve development efficiency, code quality and testing.
- Contributing ideas and technical expertise to the continued modernisation of the SAP platform.
What We’re Looking For:
- Several years of professional experience in SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 development.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS.
- Good knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO.
- Experience with RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model) and OData.
- Understanding of APIs, SAP BTP and modern integration technologies would be advantageous.
- Experience with both Fiori Elements and SAPUI5 development.
- An interest in using AI-assisted development tools for areas such as code generation, refactoring, testing and code analysis.
- A structured and analytical approach, with the ability to work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Fluent German & English
