Overview

Are you an experienced SAP Fiori / UI5 Developer looking for an opportunity to work on modern SAP applications and help shape the future of an enterprise SAP landscape?

We’re working with a large, established organisation that is investing heavily in the development and modernisation of its SAP environment. As an SAP Fiori / UI5 Developer, you’ll play a key role in developing modern, user-friendly applications while working closely with business teams, Solution Architects and SAP developers.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for the development and continuous improvement of SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications, working across both front-end development and the underlying SAP technology stack.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing modern, intuitive and user-friendly SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications.
  • Continuously improving and enhancing existing Fiori solutions.
  • Developing applications using Fiori Elements and SAPUI5.
  • Working with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) to build modern SAP applications.
  • Developing and integrating OData services, REST APIs and SAP interfaces.
  • Working closely with Solution Architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Ensuring applications are performant, scalable, maintainable and aligned with development standards.
  • Using modern AI-supported development tools to improve development efficiency, code quality and testing.
  • Contributing ideas and technical expertise to the continued modernisation of the SAP platform.


What We’re Looking For:

  1. 01Several years of professional experience in SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 development.
  2. 02Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS.
  3. 03Good knowledge of ABAP and ABAP OO.
  4. 04Experience with RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model) and OData.
  5. 05Understanding of APIs, SAP BTP and modern integration technologies would be advantageous.
  6. 06Experience with both Fiori Elements and SAPUI5 development.
  7. 07An interest in using AI-assisted development tools for areas such as code generation, refactoring, testing and code analysis.
  8. 08A structured and analytical approach, with the ability to work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  9. 09Fluent German & English
