Our client, a leading global food manufacturer and retailer based in the North East, is investing over £45 million in a multi-year SAP transformation programme. As part of this exciting journey, they’re migrating from legacy SAP systems to SAP S/4HANA, transforming core business functions across core SAP modules.
As an SAP Manufacturing Consultant, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders, system integrators and internal IT teams to deliver innovative SAP manufacturing solutions that support business growth and operational excellence.
You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from configuration and solution design through to testing, deployment and ongoing optimisation, ensuring the SAP platform continues to evolve alongside the business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and follow best practice.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams and third-party partners to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
- Support ongoing S/4HANA deployments across manufacturing and logistics operations.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve system issues, taking ownership through to successful resolution.
- Work closely with testing teams to ensure solutions are fully validated before production release.
- Maintain accurate solution documentation and ensure system changes are effectively governed.
- Build strong relationships across the business, providing expert SAP Manufacturing support and guidance.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help drive innovation across the SAP landscape.
About You:
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience supporting or configuring SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC Manufacturing solutions.
- Knowledge of SAP Manufacturing modules, Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM)
- Configuration experience within SAP Manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across both technical and business teams.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
Desirable Experience:
The following would be advantageous but is not essential:
- Experience with integrated weighing systems.
- Knowledge of SAP EWM
- Previous experience supporting large-scale SAP transformation or migration programmes.
