Freelance SAP FI/CO Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Freelance SAP FI/CO Consultant to support ongoing SAP finance transformation and optimisation initiatives. This contract role will focus on configuring, enhancing, and maintaining SAP Finance and Controlling solutions while working closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver system improvements and support project delivery.

The successful consultant will contribute across the full project lifecycle, including solution design, configuration, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support. The role offers the opportunity to work on SAP S/4HANA initiatives, business process enhancements, and continuous improvement activities within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and optimise SAP FI/CO solutions to meet evolving business requirements

• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional SAP solutions

• Deliver configuration changes, testing, and solution documentation

• Provide functional expertise during project delivery and production support activities

• Collaborate with finance, controlling, and technical teams to improve business processes

• Support regulatory, financial, and process-driven system changes

• Contribute to continuous improvement and optimisation of SAP Finance capabilities

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering SAP FI/CO solutions within enterprise environments

• Strong knowledge of SAP FI and CO configuration and business processes

• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC

• Experience across the full SAP project lifecycle, including implementation and support

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a client-facing consulting environment

• Professional proficiency in English
