Start Date: March
Contract Duration: 12 months initial (with extensions)
Rate: €800 – €850 per day
Languages: Dutch and/or French (both preferred)

Overview 

Discover are seeking an experienced Freelance SAP S/4HANA SD EDI Consultant to join a major S/4HANA program based in Brussels. You will play a key role in supporting and optimising the SD module with a strong focus on EDI integrations in an S/4HANA environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configuration of SAP S/4HANA SD processes

  • Design, implement, and optimise EDI integrations (orders, deliveries, invoices, ASN, etc.)

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into functional solutions

  • Coordinate with technical teams for EDI mapping, IDocs, and interface troubleshooting

  • Manage integration with third-party EDI providers and external partners

  • Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and provide end-user training where required

  • Ensure documentation of processes and configuration

  • Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvements

Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of SAP SD experience

  • Experience with at least two SAP S/4HANA projects 

  • Strong hands-on experience with EDI, IDocs, and interface integration

  • Experience with OTC processes in complex environments

  • Good understanding of cross-functional integration (MM, FI, WM/EWM)

  • Experience working in international environments

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Fluent in English, with Dutch and/or French (both is a strong advantage)
