Overview

Discover are looking for a highly experienced Freelance SAP EWM Consultant to support a major SAP S/4HANA roll-out for a leading automotive customer based in Stuttgart.

This position requires strong hands-on SAP EWM expertise within an S/4HANA environment and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders in a manufacturing and logistics setting. You will be required onsite in Stuttgart 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP EWM workstream within an S/4HANA roll-out project

  • Design and configure SAP EWM processes in line with automotive industry requirements

  • Support warehouse process design including inbound, outbound, internal movements, staging, and production supply

  • Integrate SAP EWM with MM, SD, PP, and TM modules

  • Coordinate with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, and developments

  • Support fit-to-standard workshops and gap analysis

  • Drive testing cycles (SIT, UAT) and hypercare activities


Skills and Experience required 

  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP EWM experience

  • Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA roll-outs or implementations 

  • Strong configuration expertise in embedded and decentralised EWM

  • Experience within the automotive or manufacturing industry

  • Solid understanding of warehouse automation and integration scenarios

  • Experience with RF, MFS, or advanced warehouse processes is a plus

  • Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills

  • Fluent German and English
