Overview:

Discover are seeking an experienced Freelance SAP BTP Developer to support an SAP transformation programme based in Frankfurt. You will play a key role in designing and developing cloud-native extensions and integrations on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), supporting an S/4HANA landscape.

This role requires strong hands-on development experience across SAP BTP services and integration technologies, working closely with functional and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop extensions on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry environment)

• Build and deploy applications using SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)

• Develop and enhance Fiori/UI5 applications

• Implement integrations using SAP Integration Suite (CPI)

• Develop and manage APIs and OData services

• Support S/4HANA integrations and side-by-side extensions

• Collaborate with architects to define clean core strategies

• Write technical specifications and support testing cycles

• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards

Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of SAP development experience

• 2 years hands-on experience with SAP BTP 

• Experience with SAP CAP (Node.js or Java)

• Proficiency in SAPUI5 / Fiori development

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite / CPI

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OData, and event-driven architecture

• Experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA systems

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

• Strong communication skills and ability to work in agile teams
