The role:
As an EC&I Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in the leadership and delivery of EC&I engineering activities.
Depending on your background and experience, responsibilities may include:
- Leading and developing teams of EC&I engineers and technical specialists.
- Providing technical leadership across electrical, control and instrumentation projects.
- Supporting the delivery of complex engineering programmes.
- Managing engineering resource, workload and project priorities.
- Working closely with project, operations and senior leadership teams.
- Ensuring engineering activities are delivered safely, to the required quality and within programme requirements.
- Supporting the development of engineering capability and technical expertise within the team.
- Contributing to recruitment, team growth and the development of future engineering talent.
- Identifying technical risks and supporting the resolution of complex engineering challenges.
- Working within highly regulated engineering environments and maintaining the appropriate safety, quality and compliance standards.

You will ideally have:
- Significant experience within Electrical, Control & Instrumentation engineering.
- Experience of working within complex or highly regulated engineering environments.
- Experience leading, managing or mentoring engineering teams.
- A strong understanding of engineering project delivery.
- Experience managing technical resources, workloads or project priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to provide technical leadership and make sound engineering decisions.
Experience within nuclear, energy, power generation, process, chemical, oil & gas, defence or other highly regulated industries would be advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable EC&I leadership experience are also encouraged to get in touch.
