The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an SAP IS-U Consultant to join a growing specialist consultancy delivering innovative transformation projects within the utilities sector across Germany.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an SAP IS-U professional who wants to work on cutting-edge S/4HANA Utilities programmes, contribute to large-scale digital transformation initiatives, and gain exposure to emerging technologies such as smart metering, cloud integration, and data-driven platforms.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of utilities by helping clients modernise their systems, optimise processes, and adopt next-generation SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients across the full lifecycle of SAP IS-U and utilities transformation projects
- Contribute to the design and implementation of S/4HANA Utilities solutions, including billing, device management, and customer service processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions tailored to client needs
- Participate in system integration projects, including SAP BTP, cloud platforms, and third-party technologies
- Support innovations in areas such as smart metering, IoT integration, and digital energy solutions
- Take ownership of project workstreams and deliver high-quality solutions
- Collaborate with clients both on-site and remotely within a flexible working model
- Contribute to the development of new offerings aligned with current trends such as AI, automation, and advanced analytics
Candidate Profile
- At least 2 years of experience working with SAP IS-U (e.g. billing, device management, EDM, or customer processes)
- Experience in SAP consulting or implementation projects within the utilities sector
- Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to work
- Understanding of utilities industry processes (energy, water, or related sectors)
- Experience or exposure to S/4HANA Utilities is highly desirable
- Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g. SAP BTP, APIs) is a plus
- Basic ABAP knowledge would be beneficial
- Fluent German is essential
